Wufoo Integration

Generate Event Badges from Your Wufoo Forms

Connect Wufoo to Online Badge Designer through Zapier and turn every form submission into a print-ready badge. With Wufoo's built-in payment processing and branded form themes, you get a complete registration-to-badge pipeline that looks professional at every step.

How the Wufoo Integration Works

Wufoo collects your event registrations with polished, branded forms. Zapier sends each submission to Online Badge Designer where a badge is generated instantly.

Automatic Submission Import

Every time someone completes your Wufoo registration form, Zapier detects the new entry and creates an attendee record in your badge project. Names, emails, companies, and every custom field arrive without manual intervention.

Payment-Verified Badge Creation

Wufoo forms support integrated payment through Stripe, PayPal, and other gateways. Configure your Zap to create badges only after successful payment, ensuring you never print a badge for an unpaid registration.

Rich Field Type Support

Wufoo offers dropdowns, checkboxes, file uploads, rating scales, and more. Text-based field values flow through Zapier as badge data, so attendee selections like session tracks or meal preferences can appear on their badge.

Branded Registration Experience

Wufoo's theme editor lets you match your form's look to your event branding. Combined with a custom badge design in Online Badge Designer, your attendees experience consistent visuals from registration through check-in.

Multi-Form Event Support

Running different registration forms for speakers, exhibitors, and general attendees? Set up a Zap for each Wufoo form, routing submissions to the appropriate badge template and project.

Entry Notification + Badge in One Step

Wufoo already sends you email notifications for new entries. Now Zapier adds automatic badge creation to that same event. One form submission triggers both a notification and a ready-to-print badge.

Benefits of Connecting Wufoo to Online Badge Designer

Wufoo makes form building fast and beautiful. Paired with Zapier and Online Badge Designer, those forms become a complete attendee registration and badge production system.

4

Handles Events of Any Size

Whether your Wufoo form collects twenty registrations for a workshop or two thousand for a conference, Zapier processes each submission the same way. Your workflow scales without additional manual steps.

5

Detailed Submission Reports

Wufoo includes built-in reporting and analytics for form submissions. Use these reports alongside your badge project for a complete view of registration volume, completion rates, and attendee demographics.

6

Embeddable Everywhere

Wufoo forms can be embedded on any website, shared via link, or posted on social media. Wherever attendees find and complete the form, Zapier ensures their badge is created in Online Badge Designer.

Wufoo Integration FAQs

How do I connect Wufoo to Online Badge Designer?
The connection is made through Zapier. Create a Zap with Wufoo as the trigger app using the "New Entry" trigger. Then select Online Badge Designer as the action app. Map each Wufoo form field to a badge data field and activate the Zap. New submissions will generate badges automatically.
Does this integration work with Wufoo payment forms?
Yes. When your Wufoo form includes payment fields, the submission data sent through Zapier includes payment status information. You can use a Zapier Filter to only create badges for entries where payment was successfully completed.
Can I use different Wufoo forms for different attendee types?
Absolutely. Create separate Wufoo forms for speakers, sponsors, and general attendees. Set up an individual Zap for each form, routing submissions to the appropriate badge template in Online Badge Designer. Each form feeds into its own badge design.
What Wufoo field types are supported?
All text-based Wufoo fields work with the integration, including single-line text, paragraphs, dropdowns, radio buttons, checkboxes, date fields, and number fields. File upload fields are not transferred, but all other field values are available for badge mapping.
Do I need a paid Wufoo plan for this to work?
Wufoo's free plan includes a limited number of forms and entries per month. For most small events, the free plan is sufficient. Larger events with more registrations may require a paid Wufoo plan for higher entry limits. Separately, you also need a Zapier account.
Can I use an embedded Wufoo form on my own website?
Yes. Wufoo forms can be embedded on any website using an iframe or JavaScript snippet. Regardless of where the form is hosted or embedded, Zapier detects new entries from the Wufoo backend and sends them to your badge project.
